These cookies are better than Crumbl in my opinion, as they have a crispier exterior and are not super thick and dense. I have gotten the chocolate peanut butter cup and s'mores cookies, which were both a bit too sweet. I also would have preferred more of a chocolate taste for the peanut butter cup cookie, as it basically just tasted completely like peanut butter. Some nights the line can get quite long, as there is only one cashier. There are a few stools and tables to eat your cookies.

Parking is so hard to find here - they were also doing construction right outside so it was impossible. Plenty of great options here and you can order ahead. They have deluxe versions and classics. Prices are okay but a little high in my opinion. Close to campus and great for catering for events. Service was great, the woman that worked there was super helpful. Yummy cookies great when warm - I like to heat them up after getting them.

The best cookies I've had in the Bay! My favorite cookie place has always been Antoine's in San Mateo, but Insomnia Cookies is much closer and just as delicious. The ordering process was simple and seamless. I ordered a cookie cake for my daughter's birthday, and they had it ready on time. Parking was a little tricky, but that's typical for this part of Berkeley. My only suggestion would be for Insomnia Cookies to add a chocolate chip with walnuts or pecans--it's the one thing they're missing! Overall, I would definitely support them again.

Insomnia Cookies started out in the East Coast then made its way nationwide the past 10+ years. I first tried them at Atlanta actually. They opened a couple stores in SF and now Berkeley! What a great location for college kids to indulge in a warm cookie late at night. I got the classic 12 pack ($32.50) and tried a lot of the flavors. Nothing was my favorite, least favorite was the oatmeal. Bummed out that they didn't have cookies and cream (not sure if it was that only or if they even make it at this location) If there was a universal cookie scale - Insomnia cookies are the softer side, easy to break off almost not holding its shape, a lot thinner compared to other cookies, chewy and buttery/ oily. Forgot to take a pic, but the cookies were just thrown in the box, definitely not nicely placed like in photos. Also nothing that if you were to bring this to party - as the 12 cookies were just thrown in, the box did not look full. I wouldn't say it's the best cookie ever but does the job!

Insomnia Cookies here just across Bancroft Street from Sather Plaza of the UC Berkeley campus, is a fairly new business, less than 1 year old. It is clean and organized, but perhaps that is because we came during the summer break. I brought my friend's high school sophomore here after giving her a personalized tour of my Alma Mater, as she had visited Stanford a few days earlier, while preparing to enter an east coast boarding school she was transferring to for this fall, and planning her future educational options. ( This girl is bright, focused and ambitious! When I went to Cal years ago, I barely had the grades or scores to qualify entry. My essay of BS must have fooled them, or I was a charity acceptance case, lol). For you college grads of the past 5-10 years in Berkeley or Palo Alto, you remember the long lines for the Cream outlets. Their novel idea was for you to pick an Ice Cream flavor, (like BR 32 flavors for you OGs), then pick a cookie flavor ( like Mrs. Fields, which was started in Palo Alto, for you OGs, or Famous Amos from Hawaii), and they would make it into a sort of It's It ( which is based near SFO on the SF peninsula, also for you OGs). Insomnia puts a twist on that (I think, I am still confused, must be because I am an OG?!). And that is, you pick the Cookie first, then the Ice Cream, and they put it together into, well, er, a new Cream like It's It? Confused, and an Ice Cream purist. I just ordered a cup of 2 flavors, so did my teen companion, or maybe she was just following me to respect her OGs? I did get an Ube flavor, which is definitely a newer, on the rise flava flave (for you semi-OG MTV "D" celebrity trash show watchers) popular Asian based flavor. ( There are many Ube-Fests around California, btw). Service was good and friendly from our server, who took the time to try to explain Insomnia vs Cream to me, but I didn't get it because maybe I am an OG? BTW, the term OG actually works in Japan, too, because Ojiisan (pronounced like OG) in Japanese either means grandfather, or Old Guy. Check out Insomnia Cookies, you can't go wrong with Cookies and Ice Cream, and theirs was pretty good. The sugar rush will keep you up for a while (Insomnia?). But most everyone likes both Ice Cream and Cookies, unless you're trying to lose weight, or you're an OG trying to better manage your A1C. Maybe time to consider OGzembic?

These cookies are so ooey gooey delicious and warm. I got the [salted caramel] and [chocolate chunk] cookies and thought both were pretty good! I liked the salted caramel one more because it balanced out the sweetness of the cookie. The texture of the cookies is somewhat crunchy on the outside, and more soft inside and filling. I thought they were a little expensive for the price and flavor, but overall not too bad! :)

They had all the cookie flavors but only 2 ice cream flavors . The chocolate ice cream was good, cookie was minty. Service was quick, staff was friendly. Small seating area, but bright & clean

Late night hot n ready baked goods!? Say less the cookies are so soft and a decent size. My most favorite flavors are snickerdoodle, oatmeal raisin and the chocolate peanut butter cup! Must try!
